Final Public Consultation
Update: This consultation is now closed. You can see how Callander voted on the results page.
From May 1st to June 30th 2022 we will be running the second public survey in our Place Plan consultation.
The survey is open to all Callander residents. It is your chance to contribute to Callander’s Place Plan 2022-2032 - the summary of local people’s views that the National Park and Stirling Council must, by law, take into account when considering development in Callander over the next ten years.
This survey brings together proposals submitted earlier this year in the first stage of the consultation. Residents, including students at McLaren High School, community focus group participants and local businesses all contributed ideas. We’ve also been talking with neighbouring communities’ Place Plan teams about working together on issues we have in common, such as public transport.
We are asking Callander residents to vote on each proposal: Yes, No, or I don’t have an opinion. This will enable us to understand our community’s priorities and to determine which proposals to include in the final Place Plan.
Please vote so that you can help shape our town’s future.
The survey is available in two formats:
On paper. You can pick up a copy from the library in South Church Street.

We have set out the reasoning behind the proposals here.
Thank you very much for your time.
