Employment

The 2011 census reported that the largest employment sectors in Callander were Wholesale and Retail (14.8%) Health and Social Work (14%) and Accommodation and Food Services (12%). In 2020 it was estimated that unemployment had fallen but more working people were in receipt of in-work benefits. When the 2022 Census is published it is likely to reflect significant change.
